Learned and used Flutter, with clean architecture, using Bloc library for state management, to develop a fitness app and a dating platform from scratch, and integrated firebase services for backend functionality. Developed from scratch a jewelry-selling android app using MVVM architecture with Kotlin, and integrated it with backend APIs I built with Django Rest Framework. I also created an Excel spreadsheet parser to automate product data entry using Python. Enabled the client business to handle orders remotely, increasing efficiency, which improved their sales. Developed a location-based air quality monitoring android app from scratch with Kotlin, applying the MVVM architecture. Successfully integrated both Google Maps & AMaps to support users with Chinese devices that have no access to google play services. Developed a health info android app from scratch with Kotlin, following MVVM architecture. Learned Espresso and used it to perform UI tests. Shipped an MVP within 1 month, which helped the company validate its idea and receive over 50K Euros in funding during the pre-seed stage. Developed an apartment finding app for Dar es Salaam city residents with Java. Learned the JUnit framework and used it to write unit tests. Fixed bugs and localized a ride-sharing app for a US-based startup, enabling them to launch in Tanzania successfully.

Applied my knowledge of Java, and Javascript, to learn and develop android and web apps. I also learned the principles of running a lean startup, conducted customer interviews, prepared business models, and pitched to investors. Developed an interactive SVG-based map of Tanzania, using HTML, CSS & Javascript, which gave an overview of the national budget allocation towards different sectors. This project went on to receive funding and recognition from government officials.
