Area Manager
Amazon.com, Inc.
My tasks as an Area Manager in the department of Amazon Robotics Storage Platform include the operational leadership of up to 120 employees in a way that daily KPIs and dealines are met. The development of employees and development as well as optimisation of processes are an essential task of this work. On of the most important parts of this job is the quick and correct prioritisation of tasks in a highly volatile working environment. After all, every day is day on at Amazon.
Working as a development engineer in the field of exhaust gas sensores for Robert Bosch GmbH. The project aims to update the currently newest available gasoline widebad lambda sensor. Though the development phase is still undergoing, I managed to implement various quality as well as cost reduction measures, mentor DRBFMs, engage in product engineering, develop prototypes and analyse data. The work is highly result driven as deadlines are strict and work is abundant.

Development of a business plan for an actual start-up In a group of three we developed a businsess plan for the continuation of funding for the company talpasolutions. The company specialised in big data analysis for the mining industry. As a result of the work we did for this start-up we kindly received a letter of recommendation from the founders.
During my time as a working student for the Fraunhofer IPT and the UKA Aachen, I received the task to independently develop a propriotary algorithm with which it was possible to automatically detect cavities in human cartilage. The general aim was to provide a proof of concept for the applicability of optical coherence tomography for human cartilage. The detected cavities had to be than identified based on their geometry and quantified based on their area.

Development of a power amplifier with a crossover The objective of this project was to develop a power amplifier with audio crossover which I realised the task with a butterworth filter. The circuit design was developed with EAGLE and the PBC was manually, chemically etched. Afterwards, the circuit was tested and successfully completed.

Development of a PID controller for a self-driving model car: After conceptualisation of suitable sensors to detect a given route, I programmed a PID controller on an ATMEL microcontroller such that the car was driving faster depending on its relative position to the centre of the route.
