APQP Lead Program Engineer responsible for roll out and execution of APQP Product Development according to AIAG / VDA / IATF 16949 standards x-carline for new Audi, BMW and Daimler Seating Programs with Key focus on D-FMEA, SC / CC Special Characterisics, Process Flow, P-FMEA (Moderation) and Control Plan. Training of new & current personal according to APQP methodology. Moderator P-FMEA.

Lead Engineer for Ford Fiesta B479 Seating in Köln responsible for understanding and realizing Customer requirements and accurately communicating these internally via releasing, internal and Customer meetings etc. Complete Bill Of Materials (BOM) creation & maintenance based on Customers changing requirements. Understanding of Customer DVP and translating this accurately into the BOM to facilitate correct and accurate component and final assembly orders. Realization of APQP and P-FMEA.

Ford C-Max C344 relocation from Valencia to Saarlouis – Project relocation in July 2014 where the C344 will be built on the same JIT production line as the C346EU Ford Focus Front seats. Task was to establish a list of common FS BOM parts between the C346EU and C344 and try if possible to communize the parts and if not prove to JIT why this would not be possible. Creation & presentation to the JCI Program individual detailed engineering reports for each similar part.

Ford B232 B-Max - based onsite at JCI HQ in Burscheid working in a close cross functional team designing & developing the Front Seats. Supporting prototype seat builds in JCI Bochum, following through to support the Vehicle Launch at JCI JIT Craiova, Romania. Responsible for Front Seat Comfort inc Comfort drives & appraisels. Electrical system & harness design including Restraints (SAB & Pre-Tensioners) integration. Close contact with Ford Customer.

Resident Engineer @ Ford Merkenich for B299 (Fiesta) & C344 (C-Max Compact & Grand) projects for Seat development (All rows). I supported the programs with the design & development of all components whether Foam, STO, Plastics, Trim, Electrical or Metal Structure on all Seating rows. My liaison with the customer was a key task of mine, understanding their technical requirements and communicating this to my Supplier Team.

Volvo S40 & S50 (P1x & P2000) - Resident Engineer based at JCI Volvo JIT Plants in Assenede & Gent in Belgium. A one year contract from the companies HQ, my position was responsible solely to liaise between Volvo Car Company Gent (VCG), JCI’s JIT Seat Manufacturing plant, JCI’s JIT Interiors Manufacturing plant and the Design Centre located in Arendal, Sweden. I was responsible for all engineering activities in the JIT plants.

Design Engineer based at Johnson Controls European Headquarters in Burscheid, Germany. Manufacturing and warranty issues for current production programs such as B2xx, C214 (C-Max) & C307 (Focus). Ford Mondeo CD34x acquisition.

Resident Launch Engineer onsite at Ford production Plant Ford Niehl, Köln. During the 2 year launch and production phases, I was also responsible for attending vehicle quality sign offs and also sign offs for Crash Test Vehicles preformed at the Ford Merkenich John Andrews Entwicklungs Zentrum. Key contact for Technical Launch issues and responsible for immediate containment measures onsite.

Resident Product CAD Design Engineer for Cooper / Siebe Automotive UK Ltd on site at Ford Research and Engineering Centre in Dunton, Essex. Responsible for CAD design of the Fuel and Brake System and Fuel Tank integration using SDRC I-DEAS CAD system. PMST Team member responsible for communication of Customer needs to the Supplier homebase.
