    Generalised Frequency Division Multiplexing’. It is categorised under 5G communications. 4G communications which uses OFDM and CP-OFDM have a larger out of band radiation and it ignores inter symbol interference. Thesis work focus on the analysis of non-orthogonal pulses shaped modulation techniques and design a low complex linear equalizer under the impact of doubly dispersive channel, which overcomes drawbacks of 4G. Considered pulse shapes are Gaussian and half cosine functions. Software: MATLAB

    Analysis and filtering of data from the product RodoTAG at Deutsche Bahn (DB) ’ RodoTag is fitted to the axel of freight cars to calculate the distance travelled. I designed a filter tool to extract the useful information from 16 GB files of data logger of the device. The speed and the header information is calculated and written back to smaller data logger files. Software: SCILAB

Project was joint venture of ARIES (Aryabhata Research Institute of Engineering and Observational Sciences in with IIA (Indian Institute of Astrophysics) Software: Microcontroller (PIC), SPICE Modeling.

  • ‘ Physical Layer In-Network Processing based on wireless sensor nodes’. I worked on physical layer based algorithms in distributed sensor networks. Advantages of physical layer algorithms over current network layer algorithms were presented. Software: MATLAB
