Role involved very strong technical and Project Management skills. • Produced the Feature Design Specification for 3GPP features: RRM, MOCN and Iu-Flex for HNB and HNB-GW – Feature description, managed object classes, attributes, and behaviour for different scenarios, impact, Call flow and Algorithms.

Owned the production of LTE/EPC architecture design options for broadband solutions to be developed into product offerings for partners – fixed wireless and mobile broadband service providers – focussing on rural communities in the United Kingdom. Role involved very strong technical and Project Management skills.

Ownership of Network performance audit for a major telecom network operator group in the Middle East – analysed the KPIs for RAN, CS and PS Core for 2G and 3G; processes and tools. Aligned the network performance with the strategy for product & service portfolio, growth projections for the network. Identified high risks and impacts. Made recommendations to address risks to position the network strategically for business in the next 5 years. E.g. Deploy new technologies - LTE, Optimization for Coverage etc

Network Audit for the Packet Switched Core Network on Huawei platform. Analysed the KPIs/Counters, Alarm and fault logs. identified high, medium and low risks as well as impacts. Made recommendations on how to help realise the company's expectation from mobile data - increased ARPU, reduced OPEX, enhanced customer satisfaction, positioning for next generation technology deployment e.g. LTE/SAE. Hence, recommended and deployed Huawei's SGSN based on ATCA technology.

Deployed emerging UTRAN technologies (IPRAN, HSPA) to enhance TO2's network technically to improve market share, revenue and enhance customer's experience. Designed the 3G-E Hybrid Iub (ATM & IP) based on Huawei IPRAN architecture. Designed the parameters to upgrade Huawei's RAN from RAN10 to RAN11. Optimization work for HSDPA.Expanded both NSN and Huawei Abis TRXSIG from 16k to 32k. Produced Design and Guideline documentations.Coordinated the validation and acceptance of design in the test lab.

Leadership of collaboration with Ericsson’s customers to deploy Ericsson’s MSS solution for mobile Core Network. Collaborated to understand and gathered their detailed requirements, identified bespoke solution/technologies to the requirements, ensured solutions resulted in CAPEX and OPEX savings as much as possible, managed customer/end user expectations. Led the End to End design and dimensioning of the entire Core Network Architecture for MSS R4.2 using Ericsson’s CANDI tool.

Gathered information on customer’s requirements. Designed and Planned MSS topology/architecture, for all IP mobile 2G/3G Core-Network architecture based on MSS R4 and R5 and over an IP/MPLS backbone. Designed the SIGTRAN (SS7 over IP) parameters, features such as MSC-S in pool, Advanced MGW Selection, TFO/TrFO, VoIP over the Nb interface with QoS.
