Member of the management team responsible for the marketing function and for delivering high-level business focused client work for a £4m turnover consultancy . Main Achievements • Introduced new marketing and PR arrangements – increased national press coverage from negligible to 110 items in 90 days, organised conference, and developed new suite of marketing materials • Spoke at national conference reprioritising contact centre objectives

Developed a niche consultancy aimed at meeting the requirements of NHS bodies for consultancy support mostly in relation to information management and technology Main Achievements Grew the company to engage the work of three partners and associates meeting business targets each year for six years and achieving a high level of recognition in the target market

Practice leader for marketing and the development of relationships in the NHS IT sector including computer suppliers serving the health market Client Work • Developed the model algorithms for assigning patients to contracts, a key element of the 1990 NHS reforms and developed contract datasets for the transfer of information between providers and purchasers • Developed a business case for a district general hospital against the removal of minor surgical specialties

Responsible for leading a wide variety of management, information and security related assignments in both the corporate and public sector projects as a Computer Auditor supporting the Audit Practice and a Consultant working within a regional consultancy office Main Achievements • Developed the worldwide computer security and consultancy function for Reuters, a £1 billion turnover information company and led team of 7 for 3 years

Team leader responsible for developing working practices and standards, the planning and execution of computer security reviews and provision of advice throughout the region on a consultancy basis

Managed a team of 13 responsible for the management of the administration and finance of a trading division, including a 2000 seat concert hall, turning over £400,000 p.a. Peter also undertook a project to procure and implement the UK’s second real time box office system.

Initially a management trainee, followed by a period as a project based “trouble shooter” working across many departments. Subsequently promoted to a data management role and finally a senior financial management position controlling budgets exceeding £8m pa.
