Über mich
As a computational materials scientist I have several years of experience in academic research, and have extensively worked at various length scales in the domain of materials modelling. My primary research interests focus on the development of solidification microstructures in dilute binary alloys. Broadly speaking, the development of simulation code and post-processing tools to model and analyze microstructure evolution has been my primary area of research during my doctoral and post-doctoral studies. Since May 2022, I'm a post-doctoral researcher at Max Planck Institute, Magdeburg, and currently working on the advancement of computational workflows, effectively bridging the domains of numerical mathematics and materials science
