The benefits of platooning are well-advertised but there is no speak of their adverse effects. Till the technology was dealing with passenger cars it was actually difficult to find any but when commercial vehicles come into the picture the story changes. Due to their size and load, the repercussions are far more dangerous.

The aim of this project was to simulate the dynamic behaviour of heterogeneous trucks in a platoon using a single input, desired acceleration to the lead truck, with a CACC controller, to maintain string stability, with high precision.

Working as a Support Executive for GE Healthcare, updating their OS and maintaining their servers. Developing useful tools for all employees to make the internal processes six-sigma certified. Developed two automation tools using JAVA and receiving ‘The Best Tool’ award. Supported GE Healthcare OS using Siebel CRM, as L1 Team Lead. Organized and conducted ‘Fun at Work’ events, quarterly. Managing employee validations and certifications for my account, 250 associates.

The company was using chromium for plating piston rings and once the chrome bath was contaminated to a certain extent, it had to be replaced. The contaminated chrome bath had to be disposed after treatment as chrome is not environment friendly. My aim was to find an alternative to this process and possible reduce cost of disposal.

Learnt and used different service equipment like Wheel Balancing Machine, Caster Checking Machine and general/quick servicing of the machine. I was acquainted with employee work hazards and everyday problems faced by customers. How sales team operate and convince their customers to spend more. How the purchase department handles calls/requests by customers and potential customers.
