Dipl.-Ing. Markus Zimmermann

Markus is accountable for the EHS performance of German, Italian and Polish plants, for developing the EHS resource as well as implementing EHS procedures and practices. He will also help ensure that all facilities are in compliance with applicable EU, country, and local laws as well as all corporate EHS requirements including ISO14001 and ISO45001 management systems.

Markus held the position of EHS Manager at Baxter Oncology where he was responsible for two production campuses with three manufacturing companies in Halle/Westphalia and Bielefeld, Germany with 680 employees producing pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals.

Markus held staff roles as Head of Technical Consulting and as Safety Engineer for Decision Point Associates Inc., Boulder, CO, USA servicing the oil and gas exploration industry among others – both of these roles leveraged his technical, operational and general management skills.
