This is while I have been living in Germany and USA, working predominantly with Hong Kong-based agencies/clients. Campaign guidance and assets provided from concept through execution. Developing campaigns and ideas that meet business objectives and advance brand strategy and reputation. Clients: CHANEL, Concord Pacific Property Ltd., China Guardian (Hong Kong) Auctions, Tiancheng Int’l Auctioneers

Acted as hands-on liaison between our overall director and the art director assigned to specific project, between us and the clients, and between us all and the vendors. Led all phases from brainstorming through to execution and production, providing design and creative feedback. As needed, I also took over aspects of a project when an art director was overtasked. Key is keeping all facets in sync and on schedule for delivery.

In this role, I reported directly to our overall design manager as team leader for concept development and establishment of design look-feel for marketing campaigns. In this process, I regularly led teams of junior designers while also liaisoning with the Sales and Marketing departments. The expectations of my role included things from design all marketing materials (prints and videos) and on-site set dressing supervision to coordination with all teams and vendors.

Reporting to overall Poadesign general manager, I was trusted to lead a seven-person integrated design team (graphic design, multimedia, photography). Our objective was to create innovative outdoor displays while charting quality control. Part of my job leading was to monitor and manage account operations.

As a leader of teams of designers, I reported directly to our business unit manager. Key to my role was supervision: of both the design process per job and frequently on-site execution. Concept development and campaign design were the starting points for all projects.

In this very active early phase of my career, I participated on all aspects of our clients promotions and events. Gradually I was trusted to manage and supervise events and their many outside vendors. Most important was guiding the design teams to establishing the best implementable look-feel to advance the clients’ brand and reputation.
