I define the project scope and deliverables. I lead the Engineering team and I am involved in solving all technical issues, in the documentation management and in the assignment of duties to the members of the team (7 engineers) during the phase of Basic and/or Detailed Engineering which is developed within the Engineering Department of the Company. I supervise documentation and check technical accuracy of work. I follow the progress of the Engineering activities with constant attention to the schedule.

Responsible of process conception (block diagrams, PFD, E&M balances) and process simulation models & reports (Hysys). Issue of Equipment sizing reports, equipment data sheets, process related documentation (process, design, safety philosophies,….). Engineering team leader and attendance of HAZOPs and technical meetings with Client’s Engineering Department. Preparation of Bid documentation for E.P.C. projects or for rental base installations related to on-shore packaged treatment plants.

Supervision and the optimization of the process of an industrial wastewater treatment plant.

The job was focused most on the design of pressure vessels and columns. Great attention was given to the choice of the proper materials, check of the construction drawings, welding procedures, NDT, execution of strength calculations (reports) according to ASME Div. VIII, AD-Merkblatter, API650, VSR PED. Moreover I was involved in the engineering documentation management during the project development from kick-off meeting until final hydrotest witnessed by Client and Certification Body.
