Über mich
I am a professional in environmental planning who investigates approaches for making policies, plans, programmes and project developments more environmentally sustainable. In 2002 I had completed my studies in Landscape and Open Space Planning at Leibniz University of Hanover, Germany, including a semester abroad in Town and Country Planning at UWE, Bristol, UK. Having worked as lecturer at BTU Cottbus, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in The Netherlands, and at Leuphana University in Lüneburg, I have over ten years work experience in multi-cultural environments. Holding a Certificate for University Teaching, I have managed international capacity building projects and have engaged university lecturers and practitioners in Ukraine, Syria, Cambodia and Armenia. I hold a doctoral degree in strategic environmental assessment in regional land use planning. I am a member of the German Association for Evironmental Impact Assessment, where I recently joined the climate work group.
