Developed North American Purchasing Operations of 6 Buyers/support staff exceeding TS16949 standards and met OEM and internal requirements that fulfilled corporate commercial expectations. Exceeded cost reduction of 3% per year goals by incorporating strategic global cost reduction programs. Developed global supply base sourcing into LCC areas. Total savings realized was 15 million USD over 9 years.

Development of the multinational corporate procurement staff which supported various global manufacturing locations in USA, Canada, Mexico, & Europe. My main customer was General Motors. Responsible for the consolidation of the production part supply base, and Logistics Services, to leverage pricing reductions by utilizing the multinational corporate commodity volumes, Supplier QS 9000, guidelines and procedures. Cost Savings realized 2 million USD.

Started both US and Mexican green site plants. Managed the new construction for both the US and Mexican facilities. Initiated the Purchasing and Logistics teams that supported strategic procurement goals and objectives. Achieved resourcing of European components to the USA and Mexico. Realized the synergies of working as global teams in purchasing, quality, and logistics. Interfaced with Divisional headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany that achieved cost savings of over 5 million USD.

Purchased OEM Convertible Systems for the Ford Mustang, OEM Electric Sunroofs for GM, and OEM T-Roofs for Ford, GM and Chrysler. As well as aftermarket Sunroofs, and high performance conversion components and conversion kits. Responsible for supplier sourcing, ordering of all components on timely basis, inventory control, and resolving all supplier issues. Many of the programs were low volume and development of internal key measurables was realized for program financial success.

Responsible for inventory control, as well as MRP, and ordering of all component parts and raw materials that were delivered on timely basis. Additional duties were scheduling for the internal manufacturing areas to produce sub-assemblies and finished products that fulfilled GM requirements. Assured that finished assemblies and shipments were sequenced in accordance to GM requirements. Maintained on-time delivery rating with GM.

Managed a two shift operation with 50 employees. Responsible for ordering raw material based upon Customer schedules, assured delivery of raw plastic material to achieve necessary volumes. Scheduled the necessary labor to produce products for Customers. Maintained high machine utilization to produce necessary production goals. Assured that products produced exceeded Customer quality standards. Insured that finished goods were delivered to Customer on a timely basis.

Management of the transportation of oilfield fluids to exploration sites. Maintenance of oilfield fluids in tank batteries. Removal of hazardous chemicals from oilfield tank batteries. Disposal of hazardous chemicals in approved disposal wells. Responsible for preventive maintenance of oilfield vehicles. Development of strategies for service of oilfield customers.

Responsible for all operations of the Airport. Management of all air to ground communications for inbound and outbound aircraft. Training of all personnel of aircraft ground services and safety regulations of the airport. Insured that all facets of the ground services inventories were ordered and maintained, including fuel, airplane detailing, and storage contracts for all aircraft. Maintenance of airport facilities. Development of all status reports to local municipal government.

Responsible for the on time pick-up and delivery of oil field components necessary for the support of oil exploration, and oil field production. Supported Logistics teams with the management of oil field fluids that supported drilling and post production activities.
