Danail Pavlov

Danail Pavlov (born 1980) is graduated in Ecology and Environmental Protection at the Technical University of Varna in 2002. In 2014, he obtained a second master's degree in Chemistry at the University 'Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov' – Burgas. From 2002 to 2005 he was a biologist at the University Botanic Gardens – Balchik of Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski'. From 2007 to 2009 he was a research associate in hydrobiology at the Laboratory of Genetics of the Institute of Fisheries – Varna. From 2009 to 2016, he was an assistant professor, and since 2016 is a chief assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Medicine and Nutrigenomics at the Medical University 'Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov' – Varna. In 2015, he defended his PhD thesis in Biochemistry. He has various additional qualifications from his participation in over 20 courses and 23 projects. He is a fellow of 3 mobility programs. Dr. Pavlov is an author and co-author of more than 40 full-text publications.
